Citizen Agenda: Part Two

July 8th, 2012

Articles of Action:

The Message

    Citizen Action Plan

"No man's life, liberty, or property are safe while the legislature is in session." - Mark Twain

We have learned from bloody experience in the current post-Constitutional America that our legislators are our generation's New Men and Women.

They no longer bother themselves with adhering to oaths; they are no longer God-fearing people.

No one faces them with their Godless, amoral behavior vis-a-vis oath of office and pledges to uphold our Constitution and way of life.

What are you going to do about it?

If you are serious about preserving our way of life, in repelling the interlopers who have overrun our government, and then finally in repairing the damage done to our Constitution and political culture, you will do the following.

  1. Pick a Party
  2. Hone your message
  3. Find a candidate
  4. Excite awareness
  5. Raise funds
  6. Reassess after wins or losses

    Installment #2

    Hone Your Message

Your message has to be razor sharp.

This message is YOU and what you stand for.  The Conservative Constitutionalist has this in her or his corner always:  TRUTH.

Faith, Liberty, and Prosperity are all on the side of Conservatives and Constitutionalists.  The United States of America were formed upon this tripod of principles. Liberals pursue an entirely other agenda.

Nothing Liberals stand for today can work.  Let's start with ECONOMICS.  You can go to our articles about economics by clicking here..

    Economics

The economic theory and policy of liberals is bankrupt.  The command economies of five-year plans are smouldering on the ash heap of History.

Such plans don't work.  They don't work, because this Liberal model is predicated upon the foundation of government workers - that is the LIberal's fatal flaw.

"Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil." - Thomas Paine

That which doesn't withstand the scrutiny of the marketplace cannot be good.  How about this idea:  You force banks to grant loans to people so they can buy a house.  Every American should have a house, even if they cannot afford it!

The private sector is a restatement of Capitalism.  Capitalism, entrepreneurism, are the gears of prosperity.  People laboring to put a better product or service into the marketplace are the great generators of prosperity - as a phenomenon.  Because, they don't all succeed.  Quite a few fail!

But the successful, with their PROFITS, put others to work.  Laborers, office workers, executives, all strike deals for recompense of effort.  Should their employer continue making profits, so employment can continue, and so can all enjoy the prosperity born of that company's profit engine.

Further, a simple model states that a million dollar company with a profit margin of 15%, and three to four employees at the median wage, produces enough tax revenue to pay for nearly two median wage government workers.

Profit and taxation are in a perpetual balance.  So long as that company makes a profit, it can keep those employees that produce two government jobs.  Raise taxes for more government jobs, and that company may have to lay employees off.  In this way does Big Government and its necessary higher taxes lead to economic ruin.

Now, what happens if government decides to get involved?  Let's take a look at the Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae boondoggle of nepotism, and bad loans made possible by taxpayers that led to the economic collapse of 2008.  Let's also not forget that George W. Bush demanded an investigation into these institutions, and that Barney Frank, head Democrat on the Banking Committee, said on the floor of the House that such oversight wasn't necessary.

    WRONG!

Are Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae in Banking Hall of Fame?  Not exactly.  This idea of making these high-risk loans came from the Democrat controlled Congress of the 1970s, and in terms of philosophy in a bee-line from Franklin Delano Roosevelt through Jimmy Carter to A.C.O.R.N.'s lies about "red-lining" of banks, to  Barney "Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac don't need oversight" Franks.

Red-lining was a term used to associate banks with Racism in not granting bank loans.  This line of philosophy includes the Affordable Housing Trust Fund Act, and the granting of special government status to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac mortgage lenders.

Enter Depression:. No one can doubt that the terrible loans that became infamously known as "toxic assets" are the cause of our economic woes, exacerbated by the spending of Congress since Barack Hussein Obama took office in 2009.

So, how did that policy of giving all Americans a home work out, Uncle Sam?

Not so well.  Read all about it in Reckless Endangerment.

The bottom line is that nothing government does passes through the filter of PROFIT.  If people don't want it, it will never sell.  Perhaps the most recent and on-going conflict over the Affordable Health Care and Insurance Act highlights that most aptly:  most people don't want it, and we will now fight a political campaign, or worse, to overturn that which a political party in power in government shoved down America's throats.

Similarly, other peoples who have elected Big Government, or who were overthrown and cast into a Big Government society, suffer the imminent failure of those economics. These failures are in History and today plain to see:  in the former Soviet Union, in Greece, and in China.

The USSR fell shattered into pieces because of it's economic model.  China retooled, and went Capitalist.

    American Federalism and Liberty

Big Government crushes individual liberty.  "Do you like being told what to do?"

Ask that question.  If the person you ask has any American left in him or her, he will say emphatically "no!"  Big Government is simply powerful people telling you constantly what to do, OR ELSE.

That Big Government philosophy equally attacks the power of the states, as it does the individual, for the state governments truly stand in the way of what Progressives/Globalists/Statists want to do with power of the American Government.

These forces are already wll along in a grand Putsch of eroding the power of State Governments.  Supreme Court rulings have diminished our Civil Liberties in rulings we've talked about like SB1070, and Louisiana v. Kennedy, and ObamaCARE.  Our 9th and !0th Amendment protections against a swelling, imperious national government, so feared by our Anti-Federalist forefathers, have been truncated by the Supreme Court and though our Legislature.

States like Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona are pushing back hard on the Obama Presidency's "Open Border" policy, and Texas and Maine have made strong statements about the coming ObamaCARE national government edicts.  With these actions, we see what our Forefathers knew about how the elected, and appointed, members of the National Government would attempt to appropriate more and more power to itself.

Our individual liberties were protected in the ingenious Federalism of John Jay, James Madison, and Alexander Hamilton.  The individual character of each colony/state government was part of that protection.  Without, the President and the National political organization would become to powerful.

And, as we survey the political landscape in Presidential Election year 2012, it has become too powerful, to the point of self-destruction:  Due to one Super Majority Congress in 2008, the most disgraceful 111th Congress, economic ruin as those people quadrupled the National Debt from then to now - with a passive assist from Do-Nothing Speaker of the 112th Congress, Republican John Boehner.

So, there is your message.  Economically speaking, Big Government Liberalism is a failure model that has never succeeded in world history.  Politically, Big Government Liberalism is powerful people telling you what do to pretty much all day long.

Point, set, match for Conservativism and Constitutionalism.
