green industry: 1)an industry, industrial plant or campus overgrown with weeds, vines and other feral vegetation; an abandoned, failed industry.

Barack Hussein Obama from the campaign trail in 2008 said the following:  "Under my plan, energy prices would necessarily skyrocket."  He would shutter coal mines, and he has done so.  All for a greener planet.

Here we are, nearly four full years later, and how is BHO's plan working out?

Why, it is working out just as he said.

Gas prices and energy costs generally are skyrocketing, and consumers are feeling the bite at the pump and at the supermarket.  Coffee is up 40%.  Beef prices are up 35%, as is lamb and pork.  That ten dollar can of coffee is not $14.  That chuck you are paying $3.10 per pound for, you used to pay $2.30.

But, to the pump.

The bottom line is this.

If your car gets 25 mpg:

20 mile round trip: $21/year for every 10¢ at the pump.

In the Obama Presidency, you've been punked for $416.00

30 mile round trip: $31/year for every 10¢ at the pump.

In the Obama Presidency, you've been punked for $624.00

40 mile round trip: $41/year for every 10¢ at the pump.

In the Obama Presidency, you've been punked for $832.00

50 mile round trip: $21/year for every 10¢ at the pump.

Are you feeling it, America?  If you buy a pound of that coffee once a month, you've paid out an extra  $50.00 this year.  If you buy 10 pounds of meat a month, you've paid an extra eight dollars a month, or $96.00 this year.  So if you stopped counting right there, your commute was the 60 mile roundtrip, your coffee, meat and gas costs to pay for Obama's GREEN VISION made YOU SEE RED: $1,518.00, for helping BHO save the world from what he and others of his ilk and intellect believe is America's pollution and climate altering industrial production.

In election year 2012, Barack Hussein Obama will blame the oil companies:"Oil companies rake in obscene profits while consumers suffer at the pump." You may bet your bottom dollar, if Barack Hussein Obama doesn't have that yet, he'll go to that hoop early and often.  He may have to tackle the corner grocer, eventually.

Don't be fooled again, America.

P.S., the ObamaCARE taxes kick in this year.  Add $2,000 to that bill, and remember when your father or mother is denied life-saving treatment by the ObamaCARE Death Panel.
