Putting Words in the Mouth of Jesus
Pssst! Mr. President! 10th Commandment: Thou Shalt Not Covet Thy Neighbor's Property...8th Commandment: Thou Shalt Not Steal
(WW BHO S JS)
What would BHO say Jesus said?
The President on Wednesday, February 2nd, pronounced that Jesus would approve of taxing the rich.
Nothing could be further from the truth. Jesus would tell BHO this: "Follow my father's law."
Those laws are the 10 Commandments. And there is nothing more plain than that, and nothing more plain than the 10th Commandment, "Covet not thy neighbor's property."
The Commandments were the pact God made with captive Israel to free them from bondage: first from the Pharaoh, and then, from themselves.
If what is yours can be seized by your neighbors, are you free? Of course not.
Yet Liberal Democrats, Socialists and Marxists have interwoven that doctrine into their world-view. They have successfully, with the aid of either complicit or unwitting Republicans, installed Karl Marx's Progressive or Graduate Tax into the U.S. Tax Code.
"They have more, so they should give more," is a commonly heard argument of liberals or rank-and-file Democrats. Even Warren Buffet thinks billionaires should pay more in taxation, in terms of percentage of income. He is lobbying for an increase in taxation from the government. (You have to wonder what he's getting in return, right?) Interestingly enough, some claim his company Berkshire Hathaway has tax bills that are a decade old, click=>here.
The plain true fact is that when the God with No Name blasted his 10 laws into the tablets for Moses, so that Israel could be free from its centuries of bondage in Egypt several thousand of years ago, his parting thought was the 10th Commandment--"Covet Not Thy Neighbor's Property." Couple that with the Eighth Commandment, "Thou Shalt Not Steal," we have a very solid Judeo-Christian idea that it is a SIN, and is WRONG, to "tax the rich" more, or a higher percentage than the rest of us.
Our Marketing Director first tweeted this thought on August 18th of this year:
